Endoscopy Center FAQs

Taking extra precautions to keep you safe.

Here’s what we’re doing to keep our patients and our clinical team safe.

How will my experience be different now compared to before COVID19?
Important precautions implemented in the earliest stages of COVID19 remain in place in our facility. Staff screeners are present upon patient arrival to check for symptoms and ask a series of questions regarding travel history. Social distancing will also be in effect throughout our facility.

Am I more likely to be exposed to COVID-19 at a healthcare facility than other locations?
Few settings outside one’s own home has as many protections to prevent exposure to COVID-19. All employees and patients are screened before entering the facilities and are asked to observe social distancing.

Is it safe to return to your facility?
Elevated cleaning measures, constant housekeeping, access to alcohol-based hand gel, and regular sanitation are all a part of the daily routines at this site of care. Additional enhanced protections include universal masking, use of PPE’s, comprehensive screening, escorting patients to their procedures to reduce risk of exposure.

Will my family be able to be with me?
We continue to maintain every precaution to keep our patients safe. At this time, we will only be allowing patients to enter the office for their appointments. We will be using a telecommunication system to let your ride know when you are ready to leave.

Will my recovery be different?
Your physician will discuss with you the risks and benefits of your procedure, including if there is increased risk of contracting COVID19. It is important that you maintain all the precautions that the general public are asked to follow. As always, we are here to support you, whatever the circumstances.

We remain focused on providing you with exceptional care.
